The weather outlook for the following week shows wet weather moving into Scotland Saturday. During the morning and over high ground snow is likely. Brighter conditions follow on but another band of heavy showery rain spreads up from the southwest during the afternoon and affects much of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Cold in the north but quite mild in southern and central regions.
Sunday: Overnight rain clears from Scotland to leave a dry and bright start in most regions. During the afternoon patchy outbreaks of rain spread northeastwards across England and Wales. Generally quite mild.
