Tuesday 11th April : Crude oils over the last two days have slipped back a liitle. Brent Crude was at $55.88 down $0.10 or 0.18%. WTI is also trading down at $52.96 down $0.12 or 0.23%. Bloomberg’s heating oil price at $1.6473 is static and may be a good sign for UK heating oil prices in the coming days.
UK heating oil prices continue to rise 14 days in a row on our 14 days figures. As a result of the jump in crude prices, the price of heating oil has risen by just over 1.55 ppl. That’s an additional £7.75 on 500 litres £15.50 on a 1000 litre load The average price over the last 14 days has ranged from 40.25 ppl to 41.80 ppl. The blue logarithmic UK Average price continues to show an upwards trend which is now starting to plateau at the 41.40ppl mark.
The average UK heating oil price increased by 1.08 ppl to 41.78 ppl with an average of 41.21. In England, prices rose by 0.93 ppl to 41.32 ppl with an average of 40.85 ppl. Scotland has increased by 0.63 ppl over the week with an average of 43.92 ppl. Wales saw the biggest rise of 1.56 ppl to 41.08 ppl with an average of 40.32 ppl. Northern Ireland saw a rise of 0.80 ppl to 39.74 ppl with an average of 39.31 ppl.
