Heating Oil Market is Down





Tuesday 9th May. See what happens when you go away for 10 days… Brent Crude is up at $49.45 up $0.11 or 0.22%.  WTI  is also trading up at $46.54 up $0.11 or 0.24%.  Bloomberg’s heating oil price at $1.4608 is up $0.52 or 0.36%. This is a slight increase already which has found it’s way into UK markets.

UK heating oil prices have now fallen from a high of 41.40 ppl  to 39.00ppl over the last 14 days.  The blue logarithmic UK Average price continues to show a downwards trend but clearly destined to continue to plateau in the next few days,

Over the last 7 days the average UK heating oil price decreased by 1.40 ppl to 39.06 ppl with a 7 day average of 39.54 ppl. In England, prices fell by 1.32 ppl to 38.74 ppl with a seven day average of 39.06ppl.  Scotland has also decreased by 0.70 ppl over the week to 42.58 ppl with an average of 42.88ppl.  Wales saw a fall of 1.80 ppl to 38.45 ppl with an average of 39.19 ppl. Northern Ireland saw a fall of 0.99 ppl to 37.20 ppl with a 7 day average of 37.63.
