Tuesday 13th February 2018. Crude Oil prices have picked up little to recover the sustained losses of last week. OPEC reacted with a further lowering of production capacity. At the end of the day it will have little impact as the US is determined to wrestle oil price control from the OPEC cartel and assist China in floating oil futures in exchange for reducing trading deficit with China. Oh what a tangled web is being weaved! Brent Crude has risen by $0.28 or 0.45% to $62.87. WTI, is $59.39 up $0.10 or 0.17%. The #heatingoil price has also risen and is now at $1.8487 is up $0.98 or 0.53%.
The UK #heatingoil market price has fallen steadily since 20th December 2017. Fortunately, in today’s UK market #heatingoil continues to fall despite the cold weather which has been forecast for at least another few days. Current average UK heating oil prices have actually increased by 1.00ppl over the last 14 days.(Regional prices may vary). However, today has seen a 0.36% rise in UK domestic heating oil prices.
