Thursday 15th February 2018. Crude Oil prices have picked up little to recover the sustained losses of last week. OPEC reacted with a further lowering of production capacity. At the end of the day it will have little impact as the US is determined to wrestle oil price control from the OPEC cartel and assist China in floating oil futures in exchange for reducing trading deficit with China. Brent Crude has risen by $0.11 or 0.17% to $64.47. WTI, is $60.99 up $0.39 or 0.64%. The #heatingoil price has also risen and is now at $1.8871 is up $0.27 or 0.14%.
The UK #heatingoil market price has fallen steadily since 20th December 2017. Current average UK heating oil prices have actually decreased by 0.06ppl over the last 14 days. (Regional prices may vary). We did predict that prices could be at 48ppl by the end of this week, however the more likely scenario is 48.20ppl.
